This famous “no-fail” fudge is ultra-creamy thanks to marshmallows. A classic Southern treat, it comes together in just minutes on the stovetop.

How to Make Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge

Step 1: Make the Base
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Heat over medium, stirring constantly, and bring to a full boil.

Step 2: Boil for 5 Minutes
Once boiling, continue cooking for exactly 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Step 3: Add Chocolate and Marshmallows

Remove the pan from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallows until fully melted and glossy.
